Having said that, the RNI styles (presets) seem to have this organic vibe that LUTs don't quite have. I have a deep respect and appreciation for photographers that have a unique style but it's not for me. I'm just a hobbyist and I'm sure I'm in the minority but I let the photos decide what works best. Reverse it and both shoots lose their 'magic'. One baseball game shoot I use a Teal & Orange LUT and another baseball game I'm using an RNI Fuji Superia 400. I love both equally and the reason why is I don't look to have a unique and consistent style of photography because honestly every shoot seems to have it's own vibe based on colours and lighting. I’ve held off on RNI so far, for this reason, due to the lite and pro packs not being profiles although they do have a small profile based pack now. ![]() I know they are different beasts but in your opinion, what do you find works the best as a base if trying to figure out a consistent, unique style? ![]() How does the daytime, film type ones stack up to the RNI presets regarding look/feel and colours/quality? I have the Lutify pro pack and it seems pretty good, especially for moody, cinematic, atmospheric shots such as night and mist etc. Whats been your findings using Lutify and RNI? Which do you prefer for a given situation?
